    // ISSUE #1 · MAY 2026

    “The 3-line Copilot prompt that turned 50-message email threads into 2-paragraph summaries”

    • 🤖AI: A specific Copilot in Outlook prompt that summarized a 50-message client thread in seconds, with the 3 decisions and 2 open questions called out. Worked on the first try.
    • 🛡Security: Microsoft published a CVE in M365 Defender that affected ~12% of SMB tenants — here’s the 30-second check to see if yours is patched and the 1-click fix if not.
    • 📊M365: SharePoint’s built-in external sharing report — most owners don’t know it exists. Tells you in one screen who outside your company has access to which files. Takes 60 seconds to check.
    • 🏢Enterprise watch: Why mid-market companies are killing their VPNs and switching to Microsoft Entra Internet Access — and how SMBs can pilot the same shift with their existing M365 Business Premium licenses.
    Common Questions

    No Tricks. Just the Newsletter.

    Who is this newsletter for?

    Small and mid-sized business owners, COOs, and IT decision-makers (or the person who happens to handle IT) who want to make smarter tech decisions without becoming a full-time IT person. Sweet spot: 10–250 employee companies using Microsoft 365 or considering it.

    How often will I hear from you?

    Exactly once a month, the first Tuesday. No drip campaigns, no surprise broadcasts, no “did you see my last email?” follow-ups. If we ever exceed monthly cadence, it would be a true emergency (e.g., a critical security alert affecting most SMBs) and we'd say so up top.

    Will you share my email or sell it to anyone?

    No. Your email stays in our newsletter service (Kit) and is never sold, rented, or shared. The only use is sending you the monthly intel brief. We will not add you to AveLu Tech sales sequences unless you separately request a consultation.

    How do I unsubscribe if I change my mind?

    Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it removes you immediately — no “why are you leaving?” survey, no waiting period. You can resubscribe later if you change your mind.

    Is this just a sales funnel for AveLu Tech?

    No. The newsletter content stands on its own value — zero of the content is sales pitches for our services. About 1 in 6 issues mentions an AveLu Tech offering in the footer (like the free IT health check) but never inside the substantive content. The goal is to be the most useful email in your inbox each month.
